These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and BOM Transformer ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the BOM Transformer web application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service — including creating an account, uploading a file, or completing a purchase — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The Service is intended for professional use by engineers, procurement specialists, operations managers, and manufacturing professionals. It is not a substitute for human review of critical manufacturing documentation.
To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.
Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or payment requirements is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.
You agree to use BOM Transformer only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate access where violations are found.
The error detection report (identifying all BOM errors) is provided at no charge. You may upload BOM files and view your full audit report without payment.
Downloading the cleaned and corrected BOM file requires a one-time payment per BOM audit ("BOM Unlock"). The current price is displayed on the Service at the time of purchase and is subject to change. Prices are quoted in USD.
All payments are processed by Gumroad, our third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Gumroad's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your payment card information.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your purchase. Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout where required.
Our refund policy is described in our separate Refund Policy.
The Service, including its software, AI models, algorithms, user interface, design, text, graphics, and all other content created by BOM Transformer, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
You retain full ownership of all BOM files you upload and all data contained within them. By uploading files to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process those files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your files or close your account.
The cleaned BOM file generated by the Service ("Output") is derived from your original file. Upon payment and download, you own the Output and may use it for any lawful purpose. We claim no ownership over your Outputs.
Our collection and use of your personal data and uploaded files is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for the content of files you upload. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the content of your files or your use of the Outputs.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You assume sole responsibility for verifying all outputs before use in any manufacturing, procurement, or production context. Never use a BOM Transformer output without independent human verification for critical or safety-sensitive applications.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BOM Transformer and its operators shall not be liable for any:
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BOM Transformer and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if your use poses a security risk, or if continued provision of the Service to you is not commercially viable.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction as mutually agreed upon.
You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us at [email protected] and allowing 30 days for resolution before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
